PIKLE, Inc. ("PIKLE", "we", "us") is committed to protecting children and to keeping our service free of child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page describes our child safety standards, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
1. Our commitment
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We work to prevent, detect, remove, and report such content and conduct on PIKLE.
PIKLE is not directed to children. Users must be 14 years of age or older to create an account and use the service, as stated in our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on PIKLE and will result in immediate action:
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, cartoon, computer-generated, or AI-generated depictions of minors.
- Sexualization of minors in any form.
- Grooming, enticement, sextortion, or any attempt to sexually exploit a minor.
- Solicitation, sharing, or facilitation of CSAM or contact with a minor for sexual purposes.
- Child trafficking or any other form of child exploitation.
3. How we prevent and detect abuse
- Automated moderation. Images, videos, and text submitted to PIKLE are screened using automated content-moderation systems before and after publication.
- Human review. Reports and flagged content are reviewed by our team.
- Account controls. Accounts involved in prohibited conduct are restricted, suspended, or terminated.
4. Reporting a concern
Anyone can report inappropriate content directly inside the app using the in-app Report option available on posts and comments. To report a user or any child safety concern, contact our designated child safety point of contact by email:
- Email: contact@pikleapp.com
We review child safety reports promptly and prioritize them.
5. Action on violations
When we identify a violation, we take one or more of the following actions:
- Immediate removal of the content.
- Suspension or permanent termination of the account.
- Preservation of relevant evidence as required by law.
6. Reporting to authorities
We report apparent child sexual abuse material and related conduct to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or to the relevant local law enforcement authorities, as required by applicable law, and we cooperate with their investigations.
